LARRY: "We obtained our gorgeous traditional yellow Labrador puppy from Mark and Louise earlier this year. We chose them because it was clear they cared very much about their Labradors and being responsible breeders, and had carried out many health checks before deciding to breed from their dogs. They were also very careful about who they let their puppies go to, ensuring loving homes with people who had the time and attention needed to look after them well. Our puppy was obviously very well handled before we brought him home, and had been well socialised with other dogs and people. He didn’t mind us handling him anywhere and was very laid back. WILSON: " Wilson came into our lives in 2020. A very handsome, intelligent and good natured fox red Labrador. He is highly driven and Mark’s words of “this dog is not to sit on the sofa, he needs a job” have been at the forefront of our minds for the last 6 years. He is the sporty spice of the dog world, we don’t work him as a gun dog but have discovered his natural talent for scent based activities. From traditional scent work activities, we branched out into tracking for fun. Tracking for fun led us to Lost Dog Tracking and after 10 months of training and 3 assessments we qualified and are now volunteers with the Lost Dog Tracking Network Southern Counties. Not a traditional role for a gun dog, but shows how versatile Bradridge Gun Dogs are. Wilson is an absolute delight, loves life and is fit, active and willing to try his paw at anything. When he’s not busy with his job and other sporting hobbies, he does actually enjoy a lay down on the sofa!"
